Fused glass pendants

Jewelry artists make fused glass by layering different sheets and colors of glass, then baking them in a kiln - a special type of high-temperature oven. You'll see a range of fused glass examples here: some with clearly separated layers of glass; some where the layers are much more subtle; and one with an actual glass "picture" of a palm tree. Beads with shimmering accents are made with dichroic glass, which include multiple micro-layers of metal oxides. Precious metal paints also provide unique accents.
