Shannon is an accomplished lampwork bead artist, with outstanding work featured in the Lapidary Journal and Bead Unique trade magazines. Interested in art from a young age, she first learned about lamp working in 1995, and began pursuing it seriously as an art form in 2002. She often demonstrates lamp working techniques at bead and craft shows.

Shannon received a bachelor's degree in Art in 2000, and a master's degree in Education the following year. She teaches art in an Anne Arundel County, Maryland elementary school.

Sally started creating jewelry many years ago by stringing beads, holding her first bead show in the 1970's. In 2000, she began designing original jewelry using silver smithing and wire wrapping techniques, along with her own fused glass beads.

Sally's unique approach to jewelry reflects her 35 years of work in various decorative art forms. She creates all the finished jewelry sold by Sunroom Studios.

Sunroom Studios is a joint venture of Sally and Shannon Stevens, a mother and daughter team.
